Do you put the gas in or does an attendent?

Depending on the code like Merlin said, it may be that the cap isn't being put on tight enough and throwing an evap leak code.

Fuel injection services sometimes make a world of difference and sometimes no difference.

Kinda like not brushing your teeth for a week, when you do, you can really tell.

How old are the wires, plugs and fuel filter?

Check fuel pump pressure. Check to make sure the plug wires are on correctly. Have the computer scanned to determine what trouble code is set. THe computer should identify which cylinder is missing. Check compression on that cylinder and make sure the injector is working (getting power).

I bought a can of refrigerant to add to my A/C system. After I loadaed the whole can in, I noticed that the meter on the can was pointing to red (overcharged) I took the car for a ride. The A/C was working fine and no problems appeared.
On the next day, I decided to let some of the pressure out of the A/C system, so that maybe it would be on the blue and therefore the proper psi capacity. I let some of the refrigerant out, but the arrow didn't move, so I stopped.
I drove about 5 minutes and everything was fine and the A/C was still working. Then, all of the sudden, the "check engine soon" light came on and will not go away. Did I do something to the engine? Did I mess it up somehow?

First thing you need to do is have the codes read, Autozone does it free, Post the results with the code number(s). Even if the service engine light is not on, there should be freeze frame data stored.
If it won't make it to Autozone, buy a cheap scanner, they can be had for 30-40 dollars, a good investment, since they cover all cars sold in the USA from 96 on.
If the light is blinking, it means possible damage to the converter. Service it right away!
To diagnose a/c charge condition, you really need a manifold gauge set, high and low sides must be known!
