Good morning. We really need help. My husband's Dodge Wheelchair Van is having seriuous problems and we really need it. It started shooting down while stop in traffic light or when making a turn. It is over heating and in the morning it works better but as temperatures goes up it gets really bad. Since yesterday is even worst cause it started making explotions and shoot off all day long.

He already took it to so many mechanics and already made a flushing, cleaned injectors. He did everything he thinks can be done, but it is getting worst and we don't know why. That's why I decided to write you and see if you have an idea of what can be the problem. We are in Houston, TX. So, If you are here or if know about a good place to take it. Wi will not hesitate to go and try to solve the problem.

WE WILL REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR SOONEST RESPONSE.I don't know anything about car issues, but I tried to explain as better as I could to see if you can help us. Thank you very much, Raquel

I am not sure about the overheating. That sounds like you could have a bad head gasket or something as simple as a bad rasiator cap or thermostat. High operating temperature will cause loss of power and poor performance not to mention the engine damage it can cause.

I am attaching a link below. Copy it and paste it in the adress window of your browser and it is the best tutaorial I can get you about backfires. Look it over and see if it describes your problem.
As far as a reputable repair shop goes, there are links in this site if you search for reapir that will lead to a reputable shop near you.

Here is the link;
