Ok just got a vr6 gti VW its a 98 love the car low mileage but my clutch has no pressure what so ever it is still able to go through the gears but it slips I have to be very careful on the throttle I'm curious if its clutch or clutch slave or if it just needs to be bled. If it can be bled I'm gunna be looking at it today and probably do a whole clutch replacement next week but just curious if it will be necessary or if these cars have an infamous problem that is an easier fix the. Will probably be a slipping clutch, when it is replaced make sure there the thrust bearing is done and that the flywheel is machined as well. And if there is any evidence of hydraulic leaks do these as well.
