The engine light is on, I have a engine scope on it and its telling me that there is something wrong with the transmission. But the speedometer is sitting at 0 and is not working. If I can get a response as quickly as possible it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure what code you have or what it is telling you, but it sounds like a bad vehicle speed sensor (VSS).

It's on the tail shaft of the transmission. To the best of my memory, it is near the battery because I remember replacing them due to battery acid getting on them.
