While driving 45mph to about 59 mph the needle drops a little below 2000 rpm, but not much, briefly and rises again. The needle only neared 1000 rpm once or twice. It doesn't stay consistently above 2000 rpm when I begin to drive about 60 mph or more. The car drives smoother than when I first purchased it.
