Losing milage on my 1998 camery. Every one I've taken it too, finds nothing wrong. Emissions fine, all hoses, valves, etc. There has to be a reason. From dealer to local mechanics, no one knows why.

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

Reduced gas mileage can be caused by all sorts of stuffs, brakes, wheel alignment, suspension, transmission etc. If its an engine performace problem could be caused by one of the following below:

1. Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.
