A Ford Dealer previously replaced the multi switch. Ever since then the battery runs down in 3-7 days. We returned the vehicle to the ford dealer and after they had the car for over 3 weeks said they could not find the problem.I have narrowed the battery drain to the circuit on fuse 31.I can pull fuse 31 and it no longer drains the battery.

That circuit goes to the headlight switch and light module before going to the multi function switch. It could be something wrong with either one of those. Keep in mind that there are 8 other fuses that go to the lighting module and it could be draining on one of those circuits. Come back to the site and go to battery draw and it will explain how to do it. All the fuses for that are in the ip fuse panel.

Good morning,

You need to do a current draw test on the system for this issue.

Remove the negative cable from the battery and put a voltmeter in line. Red lead on the cable and black lead on the battery post. Set your motor to DC amps and let it sit for a few minutes and read the current draw. It should be 50 to 75 milli amps. If it is more, then remove the fuses one by one until the draw drop to the spec. Let me know the fuse number and I can get a diagram of the fuse and what it controls.
