Air conditioner fan stopped=leaves me with no defroster as well as air con==Lincoln Continental 1998

check the fan relay and see if the blower switch is sending power to resistor/relay

I would try rapping on the blower motor with a large screwdriver handle the next time it stops. If it restarts, then you likely have a bad blower motor.
