my 1998 f150 5.4 V8 won't start, doesn't crank, turn-over or anything..the battery is fine, all the lights worked and i tried to jump it just to rule it out. Bad starter? or something worse? just hoping for a little direction, any help would be appreciated!

Could be the starter motor, starter relay, transmission position switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good.

At the starter using a meter check the big wire for 12V, at the ignition wire on starter (little wire) check for 12 Volts when trying to crank, if both check OK suspect bad starter, I have seen alot of ford f 150's with corroded/broken starter cable right near starter.
