Ford Explorer Transmission Problem
Transmission will not go into reverse.what is the procedure to find out the cause

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify possible transmission trouble codes. Other than that, you need to make sure the fluid is clean and full. Also, trans pressure will need checked to see if that is an issue. A trans tech will need to check that for you.
