My car is not starting and I had it repaired and it fired up but cut back off. I was wondering what could be the problem? Could something knocking my distributor off? I also had my water pump and timing belt replaced

Did the belt break?

It almost sounds like the timing is off. Did a shop do the repairs? Did you drive it home?

They seemed unsure? Does not make sense. They should have checked it first.
