I have a 1998 Buick century, sometimes when I drive the car Gasps I try to pressure more accelerator but that does not help. I changed the air filter, the feul filter, and the control valve sensor but that does not help too, so I am wondering if the fuel pump can do this problem.

Check the fuel pump pressure and clean the throttle platewith chokecleaner onboth sides. If you have a 3.1L thent eh presureis 41-47 psi. If it's a 3.8L then it's 48-55 psi.
