Toyota Rav4 Jack Problem
Where do i place 4 jack stands under a 1997 rav4?
i've been looking to buy the appropriate jack stands for my rav4.
1) do i buy aluminum stands or steel stands?
2) do i get the stands with the V-shaped tops or the stands with a flat tops?
i'm inclined on getting the V-shaped stands because i thought the groove in the V shape would make the truck more secure when lifted.
also minimum and maximum lifting heights help.
thank you.

well constructed steel stands with cupped chassis plates or a slight v would be ok, place them under suspension arms or chassis frame, when weight is on car ensure that they are not going to slip by rocking the car a little to may sure it has settled completely.
