Hi, I'm looking to buy a 1998 Rav4 2door with 98k miles on it. The seller has priced the car at $5000 and I just wanted a mechanics opinion on whether or not that is a fair price. Will the car last me and is the car safe?

Those questions are impossible for me to answer over the internet I cant see anything as far as brakes fluid leaks etc.I would have a mechanic look the car over before buying it. Also as far if its a good price go to www. Kellybluebook. Com thats a great resource to answer the price question when buying it from a dealer or private party.
