How do I make my a/c cool normally without affecting the engine?
My a/c stopped normal cooling, it cools only in the mornings or evenings and that has stopped for the worse. Whenever I put it on the engine rev and temp increase and it does not cool.

have the system leak checked, you may be low on refrigerant gas, do not just add from a bottle as the system must have a specific amount of refregrant to work correctly, to much is as bad as not enough refrigerant.

Just how much gas is then needed for the RAV4 spec?
