How to change head gasket on my 3.1 V6 ?
Blew a head gasket I have the motor apart ready to put back together wanted to know torque specs. and if you need to put n ew headbolts in and what if anything on the threads.

Head bolts are Torque to yield so will need NEW bolts they streach and can't be reused. Coat bolts with sealant GM 1052080 tifhten to 44 Ft. Lbs. then using a torque angle meter turn 95 Degs.
