1997 Nissan Truck Repair Question

Nissan Truck Engine Problem
I acquired a 97 nissan pickup 4x4 4 cyl. the previous owner had put a 95 engine in it .he kept the 97 head and throttle body on the 95engine now theres a serious vacuum problem the truck will not idle at all, is the 97head compatible with the 95 block?

the guy working on it for me said when he sprayed starting fluid it did good im not sure do you know if a 97 head is compatible with 95 block

We only recommend direct fit parts, so I would say no.

Your mechanic would have to put the two side by side and compare them. They change things so often, it wouldn't surprise me that they are different.
