The 1997 mitsubishi diamante sputters on take off and while sitting at red light in drive. When in neutral it idles fine and runs tight when I gun it on take off. I have changed plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor.

When slowly pressing down the gas peddle on take off the engine sputters as if not running on all cylinders. When I gun it, it seems to run tight with lots of power. If I add fuel injection cleaner to the fuel it seems to help a a great deal but does not completely solve the problem.
