Ford Taurus Door Problem
My car is 1997 ford taurus station wagon GL has an intermittent problem with the 'warning door open' light. Although all the doors closed the warning light remain on and after driving for miles suddenly the light turn off. When the 'warning door open' occurred, it also caused the overhead light turn on.
Please help me diagnose the problem. Your helps are greatly appreciated.

Common problem with these cars. Spray WD40 in the latch of the doors (one at a time) and open/close the door several times. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to find which door is causing the problem. Usually the drivers door is the one. Don't be afraid to spray the latch. The problem is dirt.
