The open door sensor and dash light that indicates there is one or more doors open is malfunctioning. The light on the dash blinks off and on, the dome light goes off and on, the sensor bell keeps ringing, and the power locks engage and disengage. All these things happen constantly and will not stop. I have tried disconnecting the battery in hopes the computer or sensors will reset but this did not work. Also it appears that if there is a fuse that could be pulled to disconnect this sensor there would be other accessories that would be lost. Is there a way to disconnect this feature without losing anything else? Road rage is hard enough to prevent with out this added torture. HELP! Anything you could suggest would be great. Thanks.

This may sound crazy, but the same thing happend to me only the interior light stayed on all the time and the door open icon showed the doors were open. I got a can of "w-d40" and sprayed the heck out of the doors. I opened the doors (one at a time) and sprayed into the door (were the latch is) closed the doors and it worked. I have not had a problem sense. Use the straw that come with the "w-d 40"to get inside the door real well.
