I have a 97 ford exploer and when driven and the truck is worm the rpms will bounce or just drop and the car will die and it will take a min to start back up

Has the check engine light come on? Also, there is an Electronic Engine Control (EEC) relay under the hood in the relay block. If it is bad, it will shut down the fuel pump and spark to the engine. You may want to switch that with another relay with the same part number to see if it makes a difference.

Sounds like a crank sensor. Also check the grounds near the batt.
