Will a stock computer read a rv cam installed in the engine? I do not know the duration, but at half throttle or more, engine has no power and just bogs down. Please help!

Nol, it only knows the stock engine. Installing any other motor, the computer will set all readings to the old motor

Will a chip or a programmer fix this issue? Or will I have to get a custom tune. I do not know duration of the cam is the only issue.

A performance shop can help you. They can sell you a program for the pcm that they can install that will tell the computer the updates to your motor.

Be prepared to spend some money, performance is not cheap
