Have to start my car by starter

All the dash lights and radio are on but no turn over then you take something metal and touch the starter and it starts up what is that

It sounds like a problem either with the starter relay or the ignition switch. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire at the starter. If there is no power, check the relay and wiring between the starter and relay. Then you'll have to work back to the ignition switch if the relay is good. Make sure there is power to the relay too.
