I recently replaced fuel pump and main relay. Car was running fine but this morning engine just kept cranking but will not start. Already replaced relay twice, what else could it be? This is my only vehicle so ready to throw in the towel. By the way just bought a new battery too.

Hello,

An engine will need spark and fuel to start.
So, if you have already replaced the fuel pump and relays, check the spark to the plugs.
If you do not have spark the engine will just crank and crank but will not start.

Here is a helpful guide on how to check the ignition system:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

If you do not have spark, it could be due to a faulty ignition control module.
That module provides power to the coils and that creates the spark for the plugs.
The ignition control module is located on the right side of the engine compartment (see picture)

The ignition control module can be tested. I have attached the testing procedure for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
