I have a 1996 GMC Suburban. It started making a clattering noise like it needed oil. Checked the oil it was good and replaced plugs and wires. The noise gets worse when you accelerate. Any suggestions on what I should check? The lifters maybe?

Check to see if you have good oil pressure first.

What you can do is post your video to youtube and give us the link. People have done that before.
