1996 F-250

We just replaced the starter and both fuel pumps, plus new spark plug wires and spark plugs in our 1996 F250(if was makng a grinding noise when started and was dying when you came to a stop. Now it is running rough and dies when put into gear.
It only has 86000 miles on it.
Any idea?

Checkyour fuel pressure and look for a vacuum leak. Also replaceyour fuelfilter. Then check for a vacuum leak and take chokecleaner and spray the throttle plate on both sides along with the idleair control valve. They tend to gum up with oil. And cause idle problems.
