There could be a number of things on this issue, and they could be related or separate issues.

So, the first thing we need to do is start with checking for codes.

If we have codes, then that will point us in the direction we need to go. If we don't have codes, then we need to inspect the vehicle speed sensor.

I am attaching the wiring diagrams that will help with the testing that we need to do.

Basically, we need to find out if there is a signal getting to the PCM as we could have an issue with the inline connector causing this issue.

If the PCM does not see the speed sensor signal, then the speedometer and cruise will not work so this is the likely cause.
