I have a 96 s-10 Chevy Blazer 4wd. I think my fuel pump is going, but I'm kind of sceptical as to whether or not that really is the problem. When my fuel pump went in my old car it wouldn't work, period. However, now the problem is my fuel pump won't always kick on. It turns on when it wants to. When it doesn't turn on, you'll hear it make this loud clicking sound three times. Is this my fuel pump going, or is there something else wrong with it?

Find the fuel pump relay and try swapping it with a like one and see what happens

Someone mentioned to me something about tightening up my gas take, or something on that idea. Could that really be an issue as to why it's giving me problems? I never thought my tank was loose or anything, so I don't know if that could be true.
