My engine never runs hot, I just recently had my ac system recharged, it blows cold at a cold start mostly but after running for a while it blows like the fan is on instead of ac I noticed the other day my engine started running hot while the ac was on and it was blowing cold after I turned the ac off it went bk to normal temperature what could b making it do that?

When the ac kicks off see if the ac condensor fan is on and blowing out alot of air. Also check the radiator and condensor for debris in the fins like sand etc.

So sorry some how I didnt get a email alert saying you posted a response. Possibly your friends car gauge isnt reading correctly or she has a bad radiator cap not holding pressure. Does her radiator fan work?

The ac condensor is on the other side of your radiator facing the front of the car.

The prime reason running the ac for a while would engine temp is because its putting a load on the engine running the ac compressor. So does the ac condensor fan come on with the ac running? As far as the power steering as long as pump is bolted up square the pulley is on correctly? The belt is on right and the pump isnt noisey then the pump is on correctly and the air is bleed out of it.

Ok the only thing I left out was my engine temp problem probly came from driving with no power steering fluid cuz at the time when I texd you guys I was driving without power steering at that time I read a article of a guy dat had da same car I had and somehow a power steering line is hooked up to my fan and after I changed the power steering pump and got rid of the leak the overheating problem went away.
