Hey guys I have a 1995 Honda Civic Lx. and it has a 1.5 16 valve engine with 130,000 miles on it. It smokes big time and it burns alot of oil. It has extremely low compression in one of the cylinders and on the rest of the cylinders are puting out about mid 90's lbs. of compression. Need less to say the cylinder that has no compression the sparkplug was covered with oil. The vehicle runs and drives and does not overheat or leak coolant.

The cylinder in question probably has collapsed rings, not a hole in the piston. How would you like to proceed?

The next step to confirm your compression readings is to do a cylinder leakage test on that particular cylinder-valves/rings/cylinder wear
