Hi there,

When re building an engine for added performance it is only as good as it's weakest link, you cant just whack in big pistons and expect miricals, it just does not work that way, you can spend thousands of $$ building up a rocket engine only to have one component not up to specs and the engine becomes a boat anchor in a few seconds, you can spend $600.00 on quality forged pistons and they will do nothing much if you can't do the head and valves as well and there is another $2K or so as well, then exhaust, crank, balance and so on ,,,, so plan what you want carefully, and remember NO Workshop will guarantee a performance engine re build as the chances of it failing due to some minor flay is greatly enhanced more so than a stock engine.
