Mass Air Flow Sensor?

I was looking for the Mass Air Flow but I understand that the older models don't have one.

Hello,

There is a Mass air flow sensor for your F-150 with the 5.0L V8.
It is located at the end of the air intake to the air filter box (see diagram below).

Having a faulty mass air flow sensor can impact the way the vehicle drives. Many times dirt and debris can get stuck to the sensor and the sensor will be unable monitor the air flow properly and that can lead to issues. Cleaning out the sensor can improve the drivability.
