I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota V8. It is an intermittent problem. It will stall, spit, and sputter after 20 minutes or more of highway travel. After cruising at 65 or 70, it will loose power and not maintain more than 40 mph or less. It might do this two days in a row, or go a month without doing it again. I have replaced the plugs, wires distributer cap, rotor, pickup coil, ignition coil, and catalytic converter. What do you think?

You might consider a collapsing pickup screen inside the gas tank. Typically it will run better at highway speeds and much worse when you coast. A clue can be found by disconnecting the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator and plugging it. You might see black smoke from the exhaust but it will run better.

The site stopped working on my regular computer so it can take a while to reply, but I'll be here.
