Heater problem
1999 Subaru Legacy Engine Size unknown All Wheel Drive Manual 129000 miles

my heater blows cold air and my temperature gauge on the dash board is over extened above Hot. It has over heated before, and my mechanic relpaced the thermostate and radiator cap.
That seemed to not have worked.
I do not have an oil or coolant leak.

Electrical problem
1995 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

The heater on my Legacy has stopped working and I need to know what to do to fix it. A friend told me to change the Blower Motor Resister, but two of them are sold for my make and model and I have no idea where they are located on the car. Can someone PLEASE help me, I am soooo cold

Before replacing the resistor may want to check out the fuse and blower motor relay, much cheaper and easier of a fix then resistor.
