I have a 94 Saturn SC2. Its starting to lag on acceleration. So far I've put in Bosch Platinum plugs, HighPro wires, Accel fuel injectors, Accel performance coils and a Spectre cool air intake. What else can I do to get some of that acceleration back? I've been debating on getting a small turbo but as far as the motor and block go, its still stock. Would a small turbo right around 10psi help acceleration and if so would it be safe for the stock motor?

The first thing I would do is get rid of those bosch platinum plugs they carbon foul in those engines.I would put in the stock ngk non platinum plugs. So you have a lag on acceleration?Any codes?I would check the fuel pressure also check the coolant temp sensor it's the bottom of the two sensors with a yellow and black wire going to it. Also check the connector going to it if it's corroded replace the connector also. The sensors are only 10 so changing it just because would be a cheap and a good thing.A bad sensor can cause lags cutting out over heating dieing no starts unstable idles all kinds of combo's of issue's. As far as a turbo on a stock engine I wouldn't do it I have seen people break stock piston's etc.
