Strange problem

I have just bought a 94 Saab 900 w/2.0 engine ran good first day
Next morning would crank but not fire, had it towed to garage The next day when they went to check out the problem it fired right up they couldn't any problems. Since than it hasn't started in the mornings but runs fine later in the day. New battery, alternator, charging. Just stumped.

Does your engine cranks over but just dont start, or is there no sound at all while turning key, if cranks but no start have them replace your crankshaft position sensor.

Sorry about taking so long to reply, I work crazy hours. That is a good idea and I will check it out. Planning to take it to a mechanic to Tuesday for tune also. Again thanka
