1994 Nissan Quest power windows

So here's the problem. Kinda weird. My windows stopped working one day after I had to leave the van at my dads for a couple months. One day after driving a couple hours, they suddenly worked again. Shut the motor off and they stopped again. If I drive for a couple hours, they work. Both Windows are affected. What could be the issue?

If the window switches are on the door, start by checking for broken or frayed wires between the door hinges. Sometimes those will allow the windows to work intermittently when you open and close the driver's door.
