We just purchased a 2000 Nissan Quest. On occasion the driver's side window will not come back up. The usual procedure to get it to work would be to turn the ignition off and restart the car and try again to raise the window. Well today the window was put down, and will no longer come up. I've heard that a good switch cleaning will often repair the situation. Could you tell me how to remove the switches to do an effective cleaning. Any other suggestions would be most helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

It may be the switch contacts, but it also maybe the power window motor becoming weak. Try lubing the window track and helping window go up with your hand. If it goes up easier. Then the window motor needs to be replaced because its over heating. If the switch is the concern, You would need to remove switch. Unclip the housing and sand the contact clean.
