I have a couple of ounces of fluid too many in my A4LD transmission. As you know, the A4LD has no drain plug. I have to drop the pan. Is it possible to, instead, evacuate 2 or 3 ounces through the torque converter drain plug?

Yes you can but a little excess does not matter.

Thank you, KHLow2008!

It's actually a good bit overfull. The level shows well above the top of the stamped area on the dipstick and it's shifting a little hard.

I recently replaced a leaking vaccuum modulator and I guess I wasn't quite careful enough down at the end of the top-off.

Thanks again!
