I started truck and ran fine for a minute then died. I thought I just ran out of fuel in rear so switched and tried to start. I immediately smelled electrical burning in cab and truck failed to start. I now have no power to fuel pumps and no spark in ignition system. Any ideas? Oh checked inertia switch and was not tripped.

If the power is going through the inertia switch it then goes to teh tank selector switch. You might have a bad selector switch or a broken wire. The fuse and relay are under hood for the pump. Also teh ground is near the top of the radiator for the pump. See if jumping the switch gives you pump power if it does, that's your pproblem.
