overheating

i have a 1994 chrysler lhs is ther a themostat on the side of the engine connected to the botton radator hose

On the 3.5L the thermostat is under the housing on top of the engine. Follow the upper radiator hose to the housing.

What's the symptom? Thermostats don't cause a real lot of trouble.
