My engine misfires and when you turn the key it wants to start but makes a boom noise can anyone help me , it has a good fuel pump, water pump, alt., Starter, router, distriubutor, all the hose's are good and thats about it, I tried carb cleaner, didnt work, almost caught the van on fire but thats another story, can you help please, I have no money to fix it and thats why im here.

Scan for codes by using a paperclipp in a&b in aldl belwo dash on left side. Count the flashes then go back to site here an dlook uner obd1 for codes it will be aseries of three flashes like 1 then 2 that wold be code 12. Check fuel pressure if port fuel it shold be 41-47 psi if lower then it needs the fuel system looked at.
