1994 Buick Roadmaster Repair Question

Transmission
Had my 94 roadmaster trans rebuilt, still shifts hard btw 1st & 2nd when cold and takes off in 3rd gear. He claims it's electrical and said he changed out computers. What else could it be?

reset the computer. When you put the new one in there may have been information stored in it from the old transmission. Disconnect the ground from the battery let sit for a few minutes then reconnect. On the older cars the computer will reset immediately. On newer cars the vehicle has to be driven about 40 miles before the computer will completly rest. If that does not work then have the car scanned to find any codes.
