Infiniti G20 Battery Problem
I have had a feeling my electrical had an issue for a few weeks. Alternator is putting out just over 11A. Car is idling very rough at times. Battery light and ABS lights come on intermittently. Finally died on me this morning on my way into work and then wouldn't turn over. I charged my battery yesterday so its not a battery issue, as the car electrical all worked after it died. I've heard that there could be a fusible link problem... Can anyone speak to this? Should I just replace the fusible link and all wiring running from/to battery and alternator - then replace my alternator?

should have 14.5 volts at battery with motor running. if not, then suspect bad aslternator.

Thanks Roy. I agree the alternator is bad, but I've heard that the problem is most likely involving the fusible link or fusible link wiring to/from alternator and battery. I want to figure this out before replacing the alternator. Can anyone speak to this issue with dash lights coming on while driving on the highway and then not being able to start the vehicle when stopped (full battery charge).
Thanks
