I have a 93 honda accord that i have noticed recently likes to run high rpms and then drops just to go high again over and over repeatedly. sometimes it will shift and i can let off the gas and it will continue to go the same speed with the high rpms, i try to slow day and it yanks. can you tell me the problem?

Check the fuel pressure and also look for vacuum leak-

Ensure you have sufficient coolant in system. Check the cold start valve for sticking and ensure coolant hoses to the IAC and cold start valve are not clogged.

Check the idle adjust screw and ensure it has not worked itself loose.
