When coming to a stop. I apply the brakes and noise is coming from the front driver side. When I am driving around it does not make any noise. I thought it might be the bearing or something. I guess that's not it or maybe even the engine mount? Or something to do with brakes.

First you need to describe the noise. Is it a clunk, squeak, rattle, or grinding noise? A bearing will make a humming noise all the time the vehicle is moving. If the noise only occurs during braking, the obvious place to start is by having the brakes inspected. The most common cause is worn front brake pads, and usually they will have damaged the rotors. Your mechanic will provide a detailed list of what is needed.
