1993 gmc van backfires on start up run poor till warm up

Do you have a check engine light? If so get codes read and post to this thread.

no the check engine light not on had it on computer showed nothing thought water in gas added dry gas ran good 3day filled new gas stsrted to backfire again

Backfire is a timing issue, either dist. or a valve hanging open.
