sounds like the valve body. have a trans shop road test it and confirm.

Do you know how much that would cost? Its crazy cause the whole day it will shift good but when i hit the brakes hard when i come to a stop thats when it starts acting up its like its not gettin the fluid or something. Is there anything else you think it could be the transmission shop told me it was the vss and i replaced it and its still doing it. Thanks so much for the help.

vss never does that. a valve could be sticking and causing this condition. you could try a valve body modifier which is an additive. otherwise, you need to visit a shop for repairs.
