Truck is hard shifting occasionally

I have a 93 ford f150 with the 5.0 and the transmission is a e40d and recently it started shifting hard only once in a while most of the time it does good. So I got the shop to scan everything and it threw 8 codes but the check engine light is not on and

Check the transmission fluid level and condition if okay-you need to bring it in and get it pressure tested to find out more what's going on-

Fluid level is good and I had it tested and they couldn't find anything wrong.

Maybe there's nothing wrong with it-I say get it further checked something is causing it to shift hard
