Transmission slipping
I have a 1993 dodge shadow es automatic transmission. when i first start it up it shifts fine through all gears. after about 10 to 15 minutes its like its in neautral it doesnt go into any gears. i can let it sit a couple hours and its working again. is the pump going out in the transmission? if so where is it located?

Sounds like the fluid level is low. Those transmissions are really tough. I have one in my '88 Grand Caravan that I use to drag around an enclosed tandem axle trailer that's bigger than the van.
